    Description

    Here is an early (2002/2003) Manitou Dorado MRD D
    ownhill suspension fork. This fork was only used for a couple seasons before the Santa Cruz V10 mountain bike this fork came installed on was put into an early retirement. Since then it has been stored in a heated garage. I was told that a bike shop in Seattle did a basic service on the fork last year and it seems to be working well. The action is smooth. Cosmetically the fork looks great, some small scuffs and scratches. Stanchions are scratch free, carbon legs and aluminum crowns look good. There are some small cracks in the plastic stanchion protectors around the screw holes but they don't interfere with anything.
