I charged it for the recommended three hours and it performed better than I could have expected. One nice thing that I did not notice in the write-up is that the unit comes with two "slime socks" to filter very small particles. I did have to stop a bunch of times to clean these socks, but that's because of all the fine debris that I needed to pick up, and the unit did a really, really good job at cleaning the fine debris. (This is the exact reason that I purchased the unit.)
I am using this on an 18' round above ground pool and I was able to take the pool from "yuck" to "yay!" in about an hour. Keep in mind that it was only my first use, but if first impressions count for anything, I am very excited to use this great little device for years to come.
I absolutely love it. We just had a rain and windstorm and didn't have time to cover the pool. Wallah!! Picked up the vacuum and it picked up the debris including the leaves on the bottom. It really makes it a lot easier to vacuum daily-before I had to hook up the hose to the vacuuming device. I have a 15' above ground pool and it works well for me. I've charged it already and was able to use it 8 times before recharging. I didn't expect that many uses before recharging. I'm absolutely loving it! It's a keeper for us.
It's small but mighty. We had a ton of little itty bitty particles on the bottom of our pool. I did spend a couple hours this morning vacuuming to get it "caught up"
Whoever said you need to invest in a pole for it must not own a pool skimmer. You use the same pole
This is truly a must have product. We have a large inground pool, and it cleans it up quickly and easily. Great for the in between touch ups. I never bought the sand and silt bag because of the price, instead I use a cut down knee high nylon stocking, placed inside the bag it comes with and fold it over the rubber, this method picks up every last bit of sand (we live near the beach).
